About the Event
Every day is an adventure at Artemis Camp. We meet in the mornings at our home base in West Philadelphia, then head out for a daily field trip* that includes swimming, hiking, and outdoor activities. And because it’s an Artemis Program, every day will include magic, goddesses and friendship-building.
*This year we will use multiple vehicles for our nature adventures and designate "car pods" so that the same driver + kids will be together each time. We will leave windows down and masks on in cars, and leave the middle seat open.
One of the key goals in Artemis Camp is to keep the group small enough to be responsive to weather, interests, and energy levels. In years past, we have skipped adventuring on days where we’re all worn out in favor of reading our favorite books, building a fort on the porch, or spontaneously planning a project together. But most days, we aim for spacious, unstructured time in nature. Our hearts and souls crave this, and there isn’t enough of it in life.
$350 per week, per kid
Limited partial scholarships available, with a priority to POC families.
9am - 3:30pm
*before and after care available depending on demand
Parents are responsible for pick and drop off at our home base in West Philadelphia, near Clark Park.
How many kids enroll each week:
8 - 15 participants each week.
This is a small group setting!
Your $75 non-refundable deposit will hold your spot!
You will also need to fill out our camper information and medical permission form.
Balance for each week of camp is due one month prior to camp start date.
